Optional Add-On Program

Tiny Tots Daycare & Learning Center is excited to offer tutoring services as an optional add-on program for families who would like extra academic support for their child.

This tutoring service is separate from the regular After-School Program. Families may choose to enroll their child in the After-School Program only, tutoring only if available, or add tutoring services in addition to after-school care.

Families with children currently enrolled in the Tiny Tots After-School Program may be eligible for a tutoring discount. Discount details will be reviewed with the parent/guardian during sign-up.

Our tutoring program is designed to support each child’s individual academic needs, build confidence, strengthen classroom skills, and help children work toward their educational goals.

Helping Children Grow One Goal at a Time
Parent/Guardian Concerns

Tiny Tots Daycare & Learning Center wants all concerns to be handled respectfully and professionally.

If a parent/guardian has a concern about tutoring, the concern must be addressed with the Center Director in a respectful manner so the concern can be properly reviewed and resolved.

Most, if not all, Tiny Tots tutors may be high school students who are gaining positive experience helping younger children. Because of this, parents/guardians should not approach tutors directly with complaints, concerns, or conflict.

All concerns must be taken directly to the Center Director.

This policy helps protect the child, the tutor, the parent/guardian, and the program while allowing Tiny Tots to resolve concerns in the proper manner.

Tutoring Fees & Payment

Tutoring is an optional add-on service and is not included in regular after-school tuition.

If your child is enrolled in the Tiny Tots After-School Program, a tutoring discount may be offered.

All tutoring session fees are due every Friday by 6:00 PM.

Payments must be made on time in order for tutoring services to continue without interruption. If payment is not received by the deadline, tutoring sessions may be paused until the account is brought current.

 Everything Offered

Snack Provided

A snack will be provided for each tutoring day/session.

Parents/guardians should notify Tiny Tots of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical concerns before the child begins tutoring services.

Tutor Notes After Each Session

After each tutoring session, the tutor will provide documented notes for the parent/guardian.

These notes may include:

  • What subject was worked on

  • What skill was practiced

  • How the child participated

  • Areas of improvement

  • Areas that still need practice

  • Any concerns noticed during the session

  • Recommended skills to continue practicing at home

Goal Sheet After Sign-Up

After a tutoring sign-up submission is received, a goal sheet will be provided to the child’s parent/guardian.

The goal sheet helps Tiny Tots understand what the child needs support with and what goals the parent/guardian would like the child to work toward.

Parents/guardians should keep a close eye on their email or text messages after submitting the tutoring sign-up form.

If you do not receive the goal sheet within 1 business day, not including weekends, please contact Tiny Tots by phone call, text, or email.
